    Cool Trolleying round town

    Duncan Ferguson is legally getting trolleyed on New Zealand roads.

    The innovative 19-year-old mechanic has repeatedly baffled police by cruising around Palmerston North in his motorised shopping trolley, which he built "for the hell of it".

    cool, so 3 wheels = "bike" ? And under 50cc = moped ? So no WOF required ?

    Gawdammit I see a whole range of crazy shit being ridden on the road on this basis. Why not ?

    What about a KB competition on the craziest road-legal moped ? Members vote for a winner..

    That's pretty cool. Can't be too hard to register this kind of thing, look at the nasty chinese scoots that can be road registered.

    Yeah, its a piece of piss to get a "moped" registered, I walked into an AA office, completed an MR2B form, handed over $78 and walked out with a reg plate and label. No inspection no questions...go figure.

    yup I like it, all you have to do for a moped reg is have an engine number, a Chassie number, a make, and go pay your money, you can make up your own chassie number.
