AIM EVO3 2Ch data logger firmware problem

I use this logger on a Yamaha R1 race bike. It was left on after the race and the internal battery went flat. Although it has taken a charge now, it wont download via the USB port to a PC. I suspect there is a firmware problem. Has anyone encountered this or used one of these units. I have run it for 5 years on various race bikes ( even some big crashes) and had no problems until now. Any ideas?

I know with working with electronic equipment, like computers and mp3's. That when a internal battery device drains completely flat, it resets the whole system, thus needing to be 1/2 to fully charged alternatively. After that, it should start back up, if it doesn't have memory back up, you need to reprogram them. But i don't know if that's the case with you EVO3 data logger. Hope it helps.
    Another one bites the dust!!!

Logger board had a dry joint on it. Eventually after resoldering the board with the external plugs on it, the problem cleared. Thanks
