Come on, I thought you were a geek. Look at the logic here:

Buy the SV, use it yourself as a trackday scratcher (with the race tail on), you'll want to use it on the road too, once you've heard it and experience the suspension. Then just pass it onto her when she's got her licence.

Did I mention it's got a full set of crashbungs on it? (4 of them).

I hereby confirm 50% of the unanimous vote required to make that particular financial decision. Particularly as it wouldn't be my salary covering it.

Pay that and you could sell all the road gear (tail, pillion seat, headlight, indicators, tail light, original exhaust, bars, mirrors, original shock, fork springs etc) Get some money back.
