I may not buy one immediately after launch, but that's a bike I'll own someday.

Might be worthwhile planning that mid-life crisis well ahead then...
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

    At last.
I was wondering what DMNTD would replace that old, worn out, 1098 with.
Is is getting close to a week old now.

You must be very mature for your age then

There are those who would disagree with that.

On first look, I'm not that enamoured with it. Is it the styling that people like or the engineering they assume has gone into it? Not trying to be devil's advocate here, I just don't think it's THAT wonderful looking.

That seems to be the usual complaint. You either love the Brutale or you think it's blechhh.

    Personally, I love it.

As the engine is detuned to 154hp, human nature dictates that upon purchasing this bike, the owner will immediately start wanting the 190hp version...

I have ridden a Brutale and it was ok. But then I wouldn't say I have the skill or ability to apreciate the subtlies that other better riders may be able to see. Perhaps you could teach me oh wise one?

It's all in how you use the right wrist. I've had a lot of practice at that.
