Bought a Sprint steering damper kit from RT a few years ago for Gassit Girl's K1 SV650S... it was a good piece of kit. It had, from memory, 8 clicks of adjustment, and didn't have the stock feature of an inbuilt air gap. Not as highly spec'd as an Ohlins, but a good damper none the less

Dont assume automatically that the price is any better, or at least significantly so. If you want to pm me with the model application I can price for you.
We did look at doing these a few years back but the whole package just didnt stack up as well as the Ohlins product, in terms of price comparison against performance, adjustability and stability of performance.
There is a very technically focused English magazine called ''MotoTech'' which is a sister magazine to ''RaceTech'' , a race car engineering magazine. In one of the more recent issues they did very subjective and scientific dyno testing of steering dampers. They tested all of the more common and perceived top steering dampers. This test also showed up any pressure balance problems.
I am more than happy to say that the Ohlins steering damper came out top of the tree, emphatically so.

Cheers for the offer Robert but the one i was looking at is a second hand one from England, the guy in fact has an Ohlins on his race bike and this was surplus to his requirements.I think it will fit my needs for the price just thought i would see if anyone had thoughts good or bad on them.

Yep, that looks like the same damper Annie had. Definitely not up there with the Ohlins, but streets ahead of the stock jobbies
