    Damaged Yamaha 225

    I've been offered a damaged 2006 Yamaha Scorpio 225 travelled 6500km
    The damage is.
Missing footpeg and bracket left side. (I've bodged up a honda shifter and a big bolt so I could do a lap of the yard)
    Missing tailight lens
    bent handlebars-not a lot
    munched speedo
    Busted indicator
    Deregistered
Otherwise the bike is undamaged and pretty much mint.-as ya expect for 6500km
    Motor sounds sweet as
NOW on tard me -$1 reserve

For the obvious point of clarification, no rego = deregistered or expired ?
One will be considerably more costly than the other

Think he was meaning dereged by the insurers Frosty, cause ya then have to get a repair cert at a cost of around 2 - 3 spot by the time a bike shop has measured discs an pads etc, unless you have a friendly panelbeater who is certified , do it for ya that'll knock off a couple hundy!~
Think the triple was around 900 to get re reged cause of the repair cert !

Could end up being a donor bike unless ya can knock em down a bit ! Paid 2,800 for the mrs 07 scorp at 300 clicks !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Remember that Frosty has got connections in the motor trade......he's not gonna pay what joe public does.

    Sounds like EK's old bike.
