    Stinkin' weather.....

I finally got my motorcycle today. That is of course why it is pissing with rain in Palmerston North. I wanna go play!
    Cursed weather!

Harden up buddy. It's only water falling out of the sky!
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

True, but I am really just a girly wuss at heart

And I don't want to encourage the throat goblin I appear to be cultivating

In that case, ya big blouse, why don't you wip out your digital camera and show us all a picture of your new beast?

Or, if no camera, tell us what it is, why you bought it, and what you intend to do with it!!!

Hey, get it right, that's *Big Girls Blouse* thankyou!

I got a '97 Yamaha SRV 250. I bought it 'cos I'm bored with being a pillion and I'm even more bored with having to ride a crummy bicycle everywhere.
So it's mainly for learning and commuting to/from work, but it'll have enough go to get me out to the beach if we *ever* have a sunny day.

I'll work on getting a piccy once I've weasled the digital camera off a friend....

    Congratulations!!

The SRV250 rocks. A great choice for a first bike, with few bad habits. You'll love it to bits.

There are tonnes of good reviews on this wee beauty. Start with this one http://www.arcomnet.net.au/~millal/SRV250.htm

Mate you're living in the wrong country if you want sun!

Congratulations on the new bike, might see you out sometime, although I'm normally riding in the rain

Yeah, I reckon it'll do me well

Should I ask what these bad habits are?

The bike will occasionally explode, killing you and everyone else within a 50 metre radius.

No worries though, eh? Remarkable bike, the SRV. Lovely plumage!

Ah, so the prescribed action if this were to happen then, would be to leap two hundred feet into the air and spread myself over a large area?

Too late, I suspect. He's probably had his rubber underwear on all afternoon and by now should be well into his sixth pack of cream cheese...
