can sympathize with you there mate, have to watch the fatigue and headaches (for me) as well.
Most people have no fuckin clue what the signs are for this thing. They just assume you're a grumpy cunt, having an off day or a typical Ginga, etc etc
Glad to read you're coming through it, it takes time, lots of time.
It is what it is
Almost 20 months and I still have at least one (headache) a day for few a hours if not most of the day, and still have a nap for a couple hours in the afternoon.
I won't ever drive a big rig on a commercial basis again.
Doctor seems to think it may take a few more years if there will be any further healing, but they don't really know.
Life has certainly changed - albeit for the best.
It is what it is
What strikes me reading these thoughts about surviving life threatening injuries is you do get a really different perspective on life, almost like who cares I'm alive probably shouldn't be,so maybe life is too short(and it is)lets enjoy it.Makes me pissed when I here people moaning about small things annoying them,i.e weather, colds. And I for one look on at other people who were in hospital,or undergoing chemo and radiation with me,as some were worse off but their attitude was great, some were down and despondant and having minor treatment(compared to a woman with both breasts removed,or brain and bald etc)of say malinoma on arm.
Hello officer put it on my tab
