    Ditto.

Spank, can the 09 kb calender be girls in next to nothing/ nothing all over bikes?

Well not on the bikes like off to the side, so we can drool over them and the bikes, without some muppet putting a girl covering parts of the bike.

    Schweet.

    I await it...

Ad-block and filterlist-G = pretty hassle free surfing.

Like I said in my first post, local motorcycle related ads only. Girlie ads just used to show placement.

Then they can suck my fat one. I'd rather pay for the site myself than bend to some fucked up corporate sense of morels.

Consider it wearing your good shirt to a sales call.

Just saying that it would be easier to sell ad space with a more conventional public image.

Companies that want to advertise on this site have to accept the site as it is. If it's not wholesome enough or sickeningly inoffensive enough for them then I guess they can get fucked.

Will we be able to comment on the ads?

i.e. If Hunter Motorcycles tries to run with this, can we mock it mercilessly?

well said.. advertisers get a choice, take it the way it is... or dont!!!

    pretty simple really.

i think some people may miss the point, the site as far as i know will remain effectively the same, apart from a few little ads here and there, nuff said

I for one am quite happy to see a bit of advertising on this site....if it is going to keep the site operating.
I have donated in the past, and am quite happy to do so again in the future, but if the site needs more than donations to keep going then so be it!
There are other motorcycle forums that use advertising with taste, and I have no complaints with them, for example this site.

Good move Spankme...the world is a capitalistic place, and as such ya gotta play the game from time to time!
