Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Unfortunately it ain't good. It prevents healing in muscle tissues. With ligament/tendon connections it can exacerbate things too much. If you are going to the physio, or osteo - avoid alcohol for 24hours before and after the appointment... It'll speed recovery.

SM?!! where are you on this thread!

    !
You are joking ?? One of the keys to speedy recovery is appropriate excercise of the affected muscles AND relaxation of same. I have always found excercise in looking around for the bottle of medicine, then administering said medicine. With the correct amount, even my bones relax

    Mebbe.
It's also not good for your heart (haven't you read the news lately about anti-inflammatories implicated in heart attacks etc.?) or your digestive system (can cause damage to stomach lining and intestinal bleeding.)
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
