Hmmm... me too. my X-Vent was a tad small (head's 59cm, helmet was 58), and gave me headaches. Shoei is SO comfy in comparison. Only think I miss from the AGV is it had a completely removable liner (scary - because then you could see how crap the interior construction is). Also the cover on the strap was longer, so it was more comfortable on my neck, and the vlecro tab was easier to clip the end of the strap up with than the plastic clip on the Shoei. The tinted/mirrored visor was HEAPS better than Shoei's wussy ones, and 2/3rds the price.
But, I'd never go back to AGV helkmets, after owning three. There must be some gooduns though - Rossi wears 'em.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I kind of liked the bright yellow Rossi one, if it had've fitted my head I probably would have brought it

The Shoei is quite nice, very light, I'm happy with it.

    Thumbs up

I know it's not a Stealth but I've had an S4 for about 18mths now, once you've learnt the visor removal technique it's a piece of piss, literally seconds, as been said it's a wee bit noisey but apparently designed for naked bikes (S4 that is) so sweet f'all bufferting on a calm day. Only dislike is no dee's, bloody clippy thing needs retightening every so often & replacement visors are f'n expensive !
As mad as a spider, and twice as hairy !

    Just got one

Just bought an AGV Stealth SV (with the internal sun visor). Only one ride so far but 1st impressions.....

Very light and very comfortable to wear. About as noisy as my old HJC with great vision. The chin vents work really well and the internal sun visor is better than my HJC one.

    Loving it so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead
Do not walk ahead as I may not follow.
Do not walk beside me as the path is narrow
In fact FU*K off and leave me alone

i've been using an agv stealth since 2009 and have found it great. that being said i'd like to try a new shoei!
The AGV initially feels quite tight when I put it on, sometimes to the point that i wonder if i have bought the wrong helmet. And it kills my ears getting it on and off (but they are munted and stick out from years of rugby anyway!). I got it new, but it was really cheap and came with a free tinted visor which swayed my thinking somewhat. But the good thing about it is that once its on and i have adjusted my ears the helmet is comfortable enough that I forget its on, which i suppose is its greatest endorsement. So initially its uncomfortable but once its on and my ears are sorted its pretty good.
The noise level isn't too bad and the air flow is good, i don't have many issues with fogging but i do treat the visor with some anti fogging stuff. The visors are quite fiddly to change, but you get used to it and it becomes easier over time. all in all its pretty good.

The only other gripe i have is that sometimes the visor doesn't seal properly causing my eys to water, but i think that an issue with my helmet alone as i haven't haard of anyone else having this problem. And its not bad enough to make me want to change helmets and can sometimes be fixed by pushing against the outside of the visor to force it to seal tighly.

would i buy another one? it depends - i got this one really cheap and it is the older model , perhaps the newer one (more angular design) wouldn't have the same issues mine has.
