    Wanted: bash plate for a DR650SE K6

    im looking for a good condition bash plate for a DR650SE K6
    2006 model bike
    just by chance is there any out there reasonably priced as second hand .
    new are quite expensive , quoted $349 at one place .

    Just want some ideas at this time .

    good thought just not quite what im thinking , wanting the ones that cover the sides of engine .
    they just have an inch or so that protects the casings

    B & B Bashplates!

    $175 AUD + Freight.

    Got one on each DR and they are the bee's knees! Dont look hideous like other products out there. Only takes couple mintues to put it on/off (handy when it comes to servicing). Protects the engine better than some other brands.

    Speaking of bash plates,i have a Utah sports bash plate on the way (used one for AU$90) so will post up when it gets here.

    Being aircooled, i wonder if there is a slight increase in oil temp with the cases being covered from some airflow.

    have a look at nordie boys albums, he made a great one out of a road sign,
    you could cut and fit it around what ever casings you wanted to.
    Wired1 makes a pretty good one aswell
