    Just a suggestion.
Also, perhaps a full account of what happened?
    Pretty much a full account
I'm keen to practice emergency braking in the wet...

Just in case some dozy fucking bitch changes in to you lane in the wet during rush hour traffic, indicating after she's started the move, and you have to slam the brakes on to avoid hitting her...

The conciquenses of this, if you get it wrong, could be (just hypothetically), you end up locking the front wheel, the bike goes under you and you go skidding down the fast lane, rolling a few times, and end up layed on your back stunned... The bike meanwhile gets scraped to buggery.

    Just hypothetically, of course !

Why do Hyosung riders keep saying that? When GSXRTrace had her Suzuki written off she wasn't so thrilled about it, but Hyosung riders get told their bike is a write off and they are all like

It's not written off yet... and unfortunately, it probably wont be ! ....

The reason behind that is.... I don't really want to climb back on a bike that's been in an accident... that and the fact that I'll have to declare it's been accident damaged when selling (in about 8 weeks), so will get less cash for it...

I still strongly maintain that bike has been excellent I've loved it...

Why do you think it wont be? Usually fairing damage = expensive = write off.

Oh, a naked ho-bag. Fully faired bikes are better - have an accident and the insurance buys you a new bike.

The real question is, why do so many Hyobag riders throw their bikes down the road. Is it to collect insurance money, or are they just trying to punish the hyobag in return...?

Arse. I think that was my last NASS.

I fly out on Wednesday morning. Should be coming up for a weekend soon for a farewell. I'll send out invite PMs soon.

When did this happen? Well good that you are alright.

I'm not sure but, for some cases, the insurance company could give you another (new) GT250. If that happens, is it a good thing or a bad thing?

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I'm only out of the country a week... and now we've lost a NASS regular and another Hyosung bites the dust?

bon voyage, Gubb. the capital's nice. missed NASS last week because the missus and i were there (Wellington, that is). it was the last few days of the Monet and the Impressionists exhibition at Te Papa. so didn't want to miss it. yup, still eyeing that Street Triple. if only Triumph would lower the seat to 760mm. mean time, will just have to make do with me F650GSTwin.
