Thats awesome. Look where his head is looking all the time. I'm keen to set up a Gymkhana course for next week. You will get used to the bike, will give me a chance to properly test the handling of my new super wicked bars too, and give us a chance to remember how to do twisties

Watched that vid and thought it looked a bit basic (maybe because it was wet) for you.
I would think you would learn more from CSS as the stuff on the vid is what you do at NASS so why pay for it.
Or there is also the ART days very worth it, or do CSS and put it into practice on the ART days.

    Hearing Protection

Here is a question for you to find out the answer to for tonight. At 100km/h, how long does it take for PERMANENT hearing damage to occurr?
ps. The answer is less than the duration from Shell Westgate to the Albany car park.

Ear plugs are cheap (like $2). You can buy them from NZ Safety stores (like in Glenfield) or CycleTreads.

Ever noticed why a lot of older riders (hello Richard) having problems hearing? Protecting your ears is probably easier than protecting any other part of your body. And surprisingly, most younger riders don't bother - and a lot of older riders wish they could get there hearing back.

Tonight I hope to show you guys how to properly wear ear plugs so you can still hear ok when your old and grey.

And it would be good if we could bring along some tyre pressure gauages (sorry to bring it up again, but we never got around to it last time as I had bike electrical problems that prevented me from attending). You'd be surprised how many people have underinflated tyres, and just don't know about it. It's so simple to check!

    Ear plugs

My deafness was started industraly but wind noise over the years has added to it . Once deafness starts it is a slippery slope there is no going back. The foam plugs hurt my ears after 10 min. I use Plugs for Lugs molded ear plugs. Yes they are $70odd(when I got Mine) but they are for ever and yes you have to look after them. If after riding you get ringing or tweeting in your ears YOU HAVE DONE DAMAGE. Learn Grasshoppers of this old joker. Regards Richard

Don't know where you were but there was no one at the Shell before 7 last night. I got there about 6:45 and it was very empty of other bikes.

    Oh well never mind.

See you all again in a couple of weeks.

I'm on call next week so won't be able to make it.
