I do this ride myself. Used to do it every second week, but only seem to be able to do with once every two months now.

Thanks, have ridden with them a couple of times now, and are a cool bunch, they are heading south tomorrow, and last time i rode with them i was the token girl and the only small bike, i can't keep up :-(

I'm not a token girl - but I can't keep up with them either. Still like riding with them though.

I like riding with them, they don't seem to mind waiting, I need to be back for the avo, so heading to raglan might not work for me tomorrow see what happens in the morning:-)

A small low speed incident involving a flat tire and ninja style reflexes which ended up with me landing on my feet

Basically, turned, not realising the back tire was flat, and it threw me of. Was only doing about 15 - 20 kph, but a scraped frame meant it's a write off...

Meh, I'm giving it a go this time! Should take about 2hrs to get there, 2hrs back. I guess you could shoot off early if need be!

As I side thought I did Hwy16 last weekend by myself but it wasn't fun until a group caught me, just saying
