Nice to have the dark blue mufti Nissan Maxima as tail end charlie for the ride along the Riverhead Road, down the Albany Hill and all the way to the carpark last night. The drivers following distances weren't always that good though. Hope you all enjoyed the training.

Was raining when I got home from work. Sorted some stuff out. Had a drink, so no riding for me. Then the rain stopped

Won't be along for at least another 3 weeks. Down to Chch next week, Gold Coast the the week after and then back to Chch the following week.

    See you in a month....

Glad to hear you guys had a good time without me.

I on the otherhand didn't.. Came home from Tauranga starting at midnight.. Forgot to fuel up since Paeroa on the way down, desperatetly searching for a 24 hour gas station and didn't spot any up to Paroa on the way back. Hit reserve at Paeroa and started to have a wee bit of a panic.. bloody hick towns.. but managed to find one in Ngatea 15km's before I woulda run out of gas..

And then after I got fuel my chain had stretched so was slipping all the way back to Auckland! Figured it just wasn't my night to do a midnight ride so woke up a mate who lives en route and stayed there the night and sorted out my chain.
