    New Brew

It would seem that we have a new pub(New Brew)at the other end of William Pickering. From Albany down Bush Rd to the lights at Rosedale, turn right along to the roundabout, turn left and the NEW BREW is first driveway on the left. Good off street parking, covered out side area and we are the only ones there. They shut the pub after we left. Only down side is the food is restricted to chips but if we make it our pub they may expand the menu. Regards Richard

It's interesting to see the amount of power being applied during the 180. How far apart are those cones in the 180 section? 3m? And I assume the rear brake light during that section is the rear brake being used?

Are those brakes interlocked, or independent?

The brakes are NOT interlocked, an after market mod for the Police. In the cone weaving take note how much the forks compress this is a sign that they are moving very quick!!!! Looks like next weeks play??? Regards Richard

I keep meaning to get the diagrams from the instructor. I will ask tomorrow about the distances. The front and rear are linked, but the front is not activated when you use the rear (front braking aplies the rear but not the other way round).

I'd be interested in trying the 180's. They look difficult.

Easy as on my XR, don't think i would so easy on the gixxer. Usually i need the whole road to do a 180.

What an awesome day for a ride. Pitty I had the camera too law and it was northlands roadworks day. And if anyone plans to go to Woodcocks soon watch out for the loose chip all ove the corners. Just the corners, like someone doesn't like bikers.

I almost went out for a ride today when I got home from work. But alas, family commitments meant I had to stay home. I haven't been out to Woodcocks in a long time.
