Sorry folks, working tonight. Got staff appraisals to write before I leave.

    Everybody fails. No pay-rises.

Well i'm back from my 5 day tour..

Minor frost bite on my little finger, but that's about it. Was well worth it.

AND! Just on the way home, maybe 20 minutes from home I was boosting pretty quick because my hands were killing me and I got pulled over by a mufti.. two scotish blokes having a go at how stupid and ridiculous I am and waving an $800 ticket around and then one of them just winked, and they drove off. It wasn't my charm because I didn't get a chance to say much.. perhaps my good looks?

Anyway, after all that bull. I'll be there, keen for a ride. Again.

FOR SALE: '88 Yamaha FZX 750, low k's and decent condition. Looking for around 4.5K. Drop us a pm, view it any time. Oh, and trades considered for cruisers or naked sporties.

    Disco Dan-ist

When Disco Dan made the AWNR Thread, it wasn't popular. But when Qkchk made a thread about the same thing, it's so damn popular!

I'll try and be there... next week...

AWNR was awesome. I still don't know why it was shit-canned all of a sudden. The thread could have at least stayed.

    Great ride last night!

Must of been one of the most coldest rides Ive done for a while. Some really good riding was on display, even from those who had not been on those roads before. It goes to show how important it is to have a decent headlight and anti-fog for your visor and what it can do to your confidence while riding at night.

    Couple of things to remember:
    • Look to the left white shoulder line while approaching an oncoming car (to avoid being blinded)
    • Keep your lights on low beam if following another vehicle or approaching an oncoming vehicle (Unlike some on the ATNR!)
    • Never outride the length of your headlight beam
    • When coming to a stop at an intersection, always check your mirrors to see whats approaching from behind. If they look like they wont stop or are approaching too fast, flash your brakelights to get their attention!

    Catch you guys next week.

Good ride apart from the whole freezing my tits off part.

Went to wave goodbye from the pub with my front wheel, but errr... seems the KTM has a little bit of punch, it just spun the rear instead!

    Check out these over gloves.

I just bought a pair last weekend and they do work. I had one day (when we had 0 degrees overnight) that my fingers where cold. otherwise they keep hands 100% dry and a hell of alot warmer.

I'm thinking about getting a pair of those. I could hardly operate the clutch/brake levers on the ride on Wednesday. Ok maybe that's an exaggeration but my fingers were REALLY cold.

Did you order yours from the website or did you buy them from a store?

I emailed her with my phone numbers. She called me and I picked them up from her house minnus the frieght for $60.00.
She lives on Huia Rd Titirangi.
If you go there ride up her drive and park in the ample car park. Dont do what I did and ride up the path to the house

It was rather cold. Think I'll bring the heated grips next time ....
