Got knocked off by a guy who turned into his driveway without indicating. No damage to the bike besides to the cover, was going real slow when it happened.
Reported it to the cops but aint laying a claim for damage that small. Guy was good about it and I didn't loose my temper at all. Lost all my oil in the middle of lake road. I lol'd

You have changed, Phil. Nothing used to be able to come between you and your bike before...

Discovered some structural fairing cracks I can't ignore. Gonna have a go at strengthening the inside with fibreglass.
I take it that tonight you will be riding the ZXR as the second number?

    Now that would be entertaining!
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

They suggested one option is a layer of fibreglass in the inside of the panel. The cracks will still be visible, but that doesn't really matter as they are low on the fairing. This will make it quite strong, and apparently will not pose an issue if in future I choose to re-spray all the fairings.

I've done some fibreglass repairs on surfboards in my youth. What could possibly go wrong, lol.

Yesterday I went to another plastic welder. They told me they simply couldn't match the paint, too complex.
Hmm, paint. Whenever I have had something plastic welded I told them not to paint it - just do the weld ...

Won't be there tonight. Got hit off my bike on sunday and the bastard cracked my stator case. Welded it back up and shes riding well but im going to wait a few weeks until I have money for tires before I ride it again.
Man you have had some bad luck recently. Glad to hear you are ok. New tyres wont stop you getting knocked off in this scenario, but it can make the mind feel more confident. :-)

What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

Was a laughable crash. Def won't be the last time I go down so no confidence has been lost.

AS for luck, I make my own...

Does your family ever get sick of eating fish? You are very good at catching it.

Personally I never get sick of it. Took mum 6kg worth of kahawai fillets from the smoker last week for one of her famous fish pies. We are also currently fabricating a much larger smoker.

We get half days every Wednesday for sport. Gotta use that time productively lol

Ti isn't worth anyones time anymore. Unless your rocking Oceanhunter gear, in which case you aren't going to catch anything anyway.
Anywhere around Leigh requires a boat or you will be swimming more than is required. These were taken at Ti Arai, north of Welsford.
