I'll be there tonight, rain hail or shine.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.
Cool - see y'all there

I plan to be along as well.
In another thread sil3nt posted this video showing an accident caused by poor throttle control. It shows how dangerous being rough on the throttle can be.
My what I can see right before the accident the rider applied throttle and then rapidly closed the throttle. The front end dived, causing the bike to run out of ground clearance resulting in the front end being lost.
For those coming on the ride tonight; it's likely to be starting to get cold enough that you may experiencing your visor misty up during the ride.
If you can, before the ride, give you visor a polish (using a soft cloth, not paper) using a polish like Pledge, Carnauba wax, or even plain car "wash n wax". Use the wax sparingly (that means only use a little bit).
If your visor does mist up from you can simply open it a crack and let the cold outside air in to clear it up again.
If you do a lot of commuting in the cold you might want to investigate if your helmet can be fitted with a pinlock visor. A pinlock is a really good permanent solution.
There are also several chemical treatments available. I don't like any of them (personal preference). Simple cheap waxing works well.
Or just use spit...
My bass is such a slapper.......I cant stop fingering those strings
have you got a pet camel? they like to spit...
Another good thing for the fogging up on the inside is liquid soap (I've also heard conditioner works well too)
Basically take your visor off and put a SMALL drop on the inside of your visor and spread it round with your fingers. Wait till it dries (1 reason to only use a little) and it will go slightly cloudy, white. Then get a soft lint free cloth and polish it off. Make sure you polish enough that you don't have streaks but that you don't polish it all off, it's a nack so you may need to try a few times.
Or pinlock, I loce my pinlock. It's amazing!!
Carnuba wax works perfectly for repelling rain on the outside. And all the bugs just wipe off easy. Wax often and then when you do gather all the bugs use glasses clean spray or camera lense cleaner. Works perfectly well.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?
Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.
Cat crap inside and out. Pin lock is brilliant but not a complete solution if covering big miles. The edges still fog up, cutting peripheral vision and eventually causing trickles inside the pinlock. Then that fogs up inside the pinlock.
For me that is about an hour in. 2-3 hours with a good cat crapping under the pinlock and around the edges.
If your riding for longer than 2 hours you should be taking a break anyway.
Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.
My pin lock has never failed me. My glasses fog up before it does.

Agree, but cleaning the visor with warm soapy water before riding stops it fogging as much either way
