    Pub is usually 8pm.

    Will head over soon.
What's the point in living if you don't feel alive?

Toying with ones mortality shouldn't be this much fun.

    560 fitted. Cheers cycletreads!
I used to run a 200 rear when I first got mine, it made turning more civilised for Lane splitting. As I got more used to the bike I backed down to a 190. 180 went on once. I liked it from a quick turn POV but there were no chicken strips at all. To used to the lean provided by the bigger tyre. Of note: the ground clearance on a Hayabusa is pretty good, my wing mirror on the right (got a bit excited on a roundabout in the wet, stepped the back out. Still don't know how I saved it) and my knees were the only things to ever touch down.

Edit: 200's used to leave me with about 2cm of what I like to think of as "if I get desperate" 190 use to have tagged rather than straight strips. Between 5 and 15mm. I think because the slightly smaller profile deformed a little more, but it could just be because it slid about in corners a little. 200's are a little loose on gravel or loose bits on the road but otherwise a bit like Velcro.

Stupid phone / Tapatalk, apologies in advance.

The old metzlers I had still had a small mount of the elephant impressions left on there edges. Z6 is a solid tire for the busa but once the rear gets to about halfway they can't seem to hold traction easily. Hoping the PP3's are a little bit better even if they wear faster. Had 8000 on my last rear with plenty to go before I did a massive burnout...

Multi compounds are a real tyre saver on Hayabusas.

    Yes from over here.
If a little damp, then still keen on the ride and the carpark. Emergency braking in the wet could be a valuable skill to develop.
If very wet, then will go straight from Z Westgate to the pub.
I'd rather be sorry for something I've done, than for something I didn't do.

PP3's are pretty good ( once they've been through a few heat cycles that is ) grippy as hell and nice smooth drop ins on cornering, heat up after 4-5mins riding aswell which is a plus.

I have to say I really enjoyed the "moist" emergency braking practice we did last week. Finding it made no difference at all to the braking has made riding in wet weather more relaxing.

My hobby right now is locking up the rear brake when I come to a stop. And practicing emergency braking at traffic lights.

Should we relocate NASS this week to the RC Track? That would be a lot of fun, and takes a bit of skill.

I think I would prefer to do the newspaper exercise at the car park first (using newspaper to cause a deliberate but short loss of traction with the front wheel).

We would also need to ask the RC people for permission. We can't just rip up their RC track.

Ok that sounds a little scary.
