Well done, I'm sure you could have got another couple of thou K's out of that chain, it's not like it was stretched at all!

I guess that explains what you were doing cruising the streets of Auckland this lunch time then ?

Back home so should be able to make it this week...

I'd say the last meet will be the 17th, so that leaves 2 more sessions. Any ideas on how you guys want to spend the last evening?

    1. An open road ride
    2. Meet up just for a social dinner
    3. Free night - Open to what you want to practice

An open ride sounds good to me

Just to "attempt" to clear something up from the other night at the pub !

    Learner licence conditions
If you hold a learner motorcycle licence, you must adhere to the following conditions:

You must carry your learner licence at all times when you're riding.
You must have an 'L' plate attached to the rear of your motorcycle.
You must not ride a motorcycle with an engine capacity greater than 250 cc.
You must not go faster than 70 km/h on the open road.
You must not ride between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am.
You must not carry a pillion passenger.
You should not drink any alcohol before driving.
If you're under 20, your legal alcohol limit is 30 mg/100 ml of blood. This is effectively a zero limit - consuming one drink will mean a rider can be charged with drink driving.
If you're over 20, the legal alcohol limit is 80 mg/100 ml of blood. Your riding, however, may be affected well before you reach the legal alcohol limit.
Unless someone can tell me otherwise.. the over 20 alcohol limit for someone on a Learners is the same as it is for someone with a full, or in a car etc etc ?

The generic NZ rode code says
    Twenty or over

You must not drive if you have more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood, or more than 400 micrograms of alcohol per litre of breath.

Surprisingly enough, I actually think a dinner sounds like a good idea.

But a ride comes a *very* close second.

Why not dinner AND a ride?? Ride first, maybe Old North Rd or something, then dinner?

hey all, last hockey game of the year this week, so I'll be able to make it next week..

realising I haven't been for the last few weeks my vote probably doesn't count for much, but I'm keen for a ride and dinner... as long as dinner doesn't drag on for tooo long.. want a decent ride before the curfew kicks in!!
