Yes, there are scratches on the exhaust.
Oh crap. Bummer dude. Don't let it put you off.
Oh, and the other guy who rides a red VTR250 to the Wed night NASS has a spare brand new complete VTR250 muffler/exhaust system.

Damb that not good. Did you lift it on your own? That would have been a big ask with the front wheel in the wrong position. It's amazing what a bit of adrenalin can do eh.

I will be there this week. Lucky me finnishes work at 4pm nowadays.

Well i know this sounds like a bit of a cop out, but i have to take the kids to school today which means i am taking the cage to work today.... what the problem you say. i work in MT wellington and live in Ranui, it is a 45 minute split on a bike so i don't envisage that i will be home anytime before 6:30 after i have to pick my wife up and kids after work and then get home gas up and get to the car park. but i will give it ago
And i was the one asking about fair weather riders!!!!

    Question

Hmmm, is it raining out West right now? I'm in the city at work, and looking out west I can see what looks a lot like rain... Not raining here though.
I'm still undecided about whether to come out or not tonight.
Are any of the mentors coming along tonight?
