Genuinely concerned and acting like a cock are two different things.

I was concerned also, and after riding with him today i am confident he is handling it with the respect it deserves, and treating it very gently while he learns how to handle the power now on tap.

    Your choice.
The bonus that some of have over others in here is maturity. while i will admit this is a very big step up i am also treating with an immense amount of care. i am 31 on 17 i dont get on a bike and think wow i can ride this i am invincible.

I was just kidding around mate, I know you'll be careful and sensible: I wouldn't have lent you the bike if I didn't know that about you. And really, it was just the first year of those bikes (1997), without the steering damper that had any real handling issues, from what I read. By all accounts it's a very well sorted bike. Look forward to checking it out on Wed.

Count me in, wind, rain, or ...more rain.
Hopefully all the people who said they'd come do end up coming along.
    Should be fun.
Hopefully it won't be as cold as last week, plus now I have an Oxford SnugTM and thermal glove liners!

]: Went to go look at the CBR 150r yesterday. It's frikken sweet!!!

However it started making a strange knocking noise. So the guy is gonna get it checked out on monday. I'm just going to have to be patient, cos the bike is incredibly awesome.

    So I won't be there tomorrow. ]:
