Damb, I was looking at crazy steves bike too but got told by someone that it was seen being drag raced so left it alone. Looks like too much of a coincidence eh.
Otherwise I would snap it up in a flash

Just wondering who goes to NASS, how long they been riding etc... I'm due to get my bike in about a week or so. I'm thinking of coming along to this, just don't want to turn up and look like a complete newbie dickhead.

Mate, if you come along and look like a dickhead... you will fit in quite nicely...

Nothing to do with the riding (we try to be sensible with that!), just, mostly they are dickheads

Technically, mine is BIGGER... and just think of all that money you would save on speeding tickets !, and not many "BIGGER" bikes get 400km's to a tank

Go on...

Been riding for 6 weeks or so but I went to NASS the very first week I got my (first) bike and was a very good decision. I had only ridden a bike once before 2 years back at the BHS test..

Newbies (like me) turn up every week.. Have you got any motorcycle experience at all ? If not and you dont feel comfortable riding to NASS by yourself I could always meet you

Would do but the bike is having a few bits done to it and wont be ready in time, should have it for the Wednesday after tho... I haven't been on a bike since my BHS

I'm itching to get going...

I rode for a little while years back in London but that was a long long time ago, so basically I'm starting a fresh. Just have to wait for the bike to be ready, should be next week.....

Christ, a real cockney barra boy then... at least they'll have a better chance at taking the piss of your accent than my dulcet northern tones !

(no, really, apparently everyone from the UK sounds like Chas and Dave when a Kiwi does an impression)

Yup. move over here bout 5 years ago.... Spent the last few of my years in the UK up north, Manchester and Leeds.

i joined NASS the same week after i got my bike; that's after a 15-year break. so it's all good for newbies and born-again riders. no worries.
