Get a spray bottle with some soapy dishwater in it. For 500mls you want two teaspoons.
Go to the servo.
Fill up with air.
Go for 10 minute ride to get the tires warm and maximise the pressure ( or you can just put 5 -10lbs too much in.
Spray your dishwater liberally all over the tyre.
if it bubbles there is your leak.
IF it has not after a few minutes yeided a bubble roll forward and do the other half of the tyre.
Don't forget to test all of you spoke and rim seals, on the opposite half of the tyre.
If all else fails go to the tyre repairer. They can find and patch the smallest holes.
IF you find a nail or other obstruction and you decide to remove it your self, DON"T.
IF you still want to remove your nail or other obstruction yourself (because your a biker damn it!) do so out side your repairer with some spray handy to test the new seal. Reality is if you had a slow leak and you removed the obstruction you now have a fast leak. But at least you are already at the repair shop so you don't have to pay for a tow or someone to come out.
