    Chet round 2 vmcc

This is my first race report so you will have to bear with me ok here goes.

woke up to find a cold morning lots of frost but no rain yay i was abit nervous about the days raceing as the last time i had been on the manfield track was september last year. We arrived at the track at 7 just as the gates opened, unpacked our bikes and were ready to go by 7.30 with nothing better to do we went out and walked the track wow look at those bumps this should be interesting.
went out to qualify (post classic jr) with a bike that would not idle lots of bikes to fight through but came out the other side feeling ok about my time.when i went to check my star possie iwas amazed to be 8th on grid and outside row excellent bring it on
    race one:
bit of a blur really ende up haveing a scrap with braden passing him on some corners then being blasted down the straights we ended up touching at the end of the middle straight and i ran wide and braden got me for second damn.
i asked him what he had done to his bike to make it so fast turns out it was a cbr 400 with a 600 motor damn''.

    race two:
i had no plan other than to go hard and i didnt expect too much but got a bit of a shock when i finished the first lap in front of both braden and chris sales
i tried to make a break but kept getting slowed on the corners by thr big thous. Managed to stay in the lead for 9 laps saw the white flag and tried to go faster too bad the other two had the same idea.i made a couple of mistakes on that last lap and came out of the hairpin in the wrong gear from ther i knew it was all over my bike has a standerd engine and is not very fast in a straight line i managed to catch back up with brade and chris by dunlop and went around the out side of braden to be kneck and kneck with him, after that it was a straight drag race and i lost but man i was happy as it was an awesome race and i finished third for the day.
Also i went the fastest i have been on the track with a 1.19.4on the last lap.

    Bring on the next round.

p.s. thanx to gregg at video concepts the Waggeners for all there help with the bike and everyone else that has helped and supported me.

see you all at the next round.

You were certainly hauling. Now...about this 600 motor being stuffed into a 400....sounds like a plan...............

Top effort, dude I'm surprised that a 400 can keep that methanol monster of Chris Sales' in check. All the best for next time.
