    Taking my time (Imbray)

Hi everyone, finally worked out to start a thread ( so not good with computers)

Thought I had better introduce myself at last, have had my learners lic for yeeeears after beening put off riding as was on the wrong type of bike ( 2 stroke 150cc racer - wheeeeee ), but hubby after 10yrs of nagging still refused to 2 up me even thu he knew I loved riding as a kid ( put alot of farm bike's into rabbit holes & elec fences ) finally got back onto a bike that I can touch the ground on ( have ducks disease - arse to close to the ground) & I LOVE it, want bigger faster now!!!, booked in to do full lic in Aug Think bike shops sick of me going in & cann't quite decide what I want to move up to, thinking of the M50, maybe, need to ride before I choose ( hubby starting to bang head against wall, wall will live )

    Welcome to KB!
Maybe having a quick read of the FAQ and "site rules" area could save you a bit of hassle?

    Enjoy the place...

Welcome Imbray. Without a doubt you have made the right choice on the bike front.

Thanks guy's, the RF 900R belongs to hubby, but he's looking at moving to more of a tourer thu, starting to find the riding postion hard on long rides these day's , body starting to feel his age & multi acc's esp in his younger days when he raced ( stopped after a BBBBBAAAADDD crash racing - had to be jumped started a few times ), keep telling him I'm going to trade him in for a younger model

No he's not on the site yet, he's not much of 1 for forums ect not sure what bike he raced, it was at Paradise 20+ years ago, he stopped racing after he wheel stood the bike, bent the forks when he came down & did multi cartwheels down the striaght giving him self a "flip top head", they showed footage of it at the closing of the track. I know he rode a motoguzzi for fun in Aussie, he's been thru so many that I can't keep track of them all

White Shepards are awesome, I go mountain biking with two of them (my brother and sister in laws dogs) the funniest comments we have heard are the constant ones about "look wolves" or "I swear they were wolves"

Welcome welcome! I've got my learners too, and haven't ridden for over ten years, after having got really excited about it all then stopping to have kids (yeah yeah, I know you can still ride when you're pregnant - but I had four in three years - kinda made it hard!).

I'll be keen to hear how you get on going for your full, and how your shopping goes!

Loved your post, by the way - is immeasurably more entertaining reading a post with lots of emoticons!
