the Comms Centre is always screaming out for quality staff - there's plenty of non sworn positions available there.

Perhaps one of our resident coppers could enlighten me as to the difference between sworn/unsworn. A brief layman's legal description would be helpful

Sworn officers have the powers to enforce.

Non-sworn are support staff that have no powers.

Sworn have to deal with the shit face to face a whole lot more than a non-sworn who's normally based in an office...

Hahahahahaha, we watched that last night at work, hilarious!

Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

    Y'reckon? I dunno bro.

All jokes aside, I wonder if you really realise the extent to which becoming a fair dinkum police officer will move your wife into a different world.

And then there's the shift work, et cetera. Do some googling on police divorce statistics.

I hate to be the party pooper, but in your position, I would not be keen on this idea.

No gravel in these skidders - It a bloody great job, been doin it for 11yrs. My only gripe is the fuckwits that need to be kept in line from time to time.
