Seems Mrs SPB is still thinking about this and has signed up for an introductory seminar.
After further research the biggest drawback appears to be the extended period away from home while training [no jiggy-jiggy for me] and the low rate of pay until qualified.

The funniest one was the girl nicknamed the "light house..."
The beds in the barracks have a light switch on the wall, half way down the bed... she was having a root and she kept on flicking the light on and off like a light house with her leg while being pummelled ... Farken hillarious....
