    Try ebay
    for the xl:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1972-...spagenameZWDVW
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/72-73...ayphotohosting

there'll be others, those two were the first to pop up
use keywords like "xl250* carb" "xl250* boot" etc and you'll find them

CB900: easy - try these guys:
    http://www.motorcycle.nl/INTAKE_RUBB...art_22874.html
Or just spend some time searching Ebay/Google (try a few different terms, like CB900 carb rubber, CB900 intake etc and 'vintage Honda parts etc)

    XL250 - try these guys: http://www.xlintperformance.com/parts.htm
    and/or try searching as above

there is heaps of this sort of stuff overseas, probably easier than trying to find in NZ unless you have good contacts

I got a brand new set for the 900 but I had to send them back because they were rock hard.

You can soften most small/hollow rubber items like that by cleaning (scrubbing hard in warm soapy water, then plain water until the water remains clear) then soaking in a mixture of ammonia & water (water at 2:1 with the ammonia) takes a couple of hours or so depending on how hard the bits are, use enough to cover the items completely.

If the guys at Econohonda haven't got any then aside from Ebay you should maybe try David Silver Spares.

Hi mate, you could try the yank's, http://www.alpha-sports.com
    or http://www.bikebandit.com .
the've been the only place i've been able to get some of the part's for my old girl. alpha's postage is half the price of bikebandit and you get the parts normally between 5 to 8 day's.

You could try Peter Glidden Honda at Te Awamutu for the XL stuff. Haven't been there in ages but it used to be a treasure trove.
