WTF has his (awesome) car collection got to do with it? For all you know he might have bought all those things and more with an inheritance, lotto win or whatever. If they have been bought solely on the profits of his business then is that somehow a crime?
Yes he's very good, yes you pay at the top end of the scale (but then his quality is at the top end of the scale) and yes, sometimes you have to push him to get things done in time (because they are very busy, but how much lead time did you give him?).
At the end of the day money talks, if you aren't happy don't deal with him - don't slag a guy off for having a profitable business and being able to enjoy those profits.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
Hey settle down buddy, I wasnt slagging him off, did you not read the first part of my post where i said he is VERY good. the reference to his car collection was more tounge in cheek than anything else.
XLR8 Racing
Spectrum Motorcycles
Computerforce
Metzler, Maxima oils
lol, I'm settled.....note there was no swear words (well, maybe a small WTF)
The implication of your post was that we are all subsidising his car collection, as if that was some sort of crime, which I don't think is right - I don't care if the guy has a Bugatti Veyron from the proceeds of his business. At the end of the day you get quoted a price for a quality job, if you aren't happy with the quoted price shop elsewhere.
That's cool though - if it was meant tongue in cheek you should probably have put a smiley or lol next to it to show that.
Apologies if I misconstrued your post - I just get pissed off with the seemingly large number of people on this forum who seem to think its a crime to make money, they need to think about the big picture, often companies like CSC put money back into our motorcycling community by way of sponsorship of riders, events and the like as do many dealers and wholesalers. If everyone followed this direction pretty soon we would have no local motorcycle industry and then who would support our sport, rallies, rides, riders, bike shows and all the other things we take for granted? For that matter, if all the dealers shut up shop who will fix your bikes etc.? Just something to consider.
Rant over.....![]()
