Skunky - if they lived with one for a week they would STFU.
Pricing is unfortunate, but so were DVD players and big TVs and Brick phones when they first came out.

I used to row against the guy back in my school days. He's a nice guy, but still struggling to see the point in waiting for an iPhone.
I paid $800 for an Okta Touch when they first came out, kinda regretting it now - should have just got a $150 phone that does everything I need instead of the $800 does everything + way more that I never ever use.
If you think Vodafones plans are expensive... i'm on a slower speed connection for internet on my phone than vodafone offers, I pay $8.50 for the first 10mb... and any mb over that costs $10/mb...that means if i was to download 1GB of data it would cost me $10,140... plus I'd have to go out and get a larger memory card for it - my phone is only 256mb at the moment.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
Stop slamming him so hard. I read that if he actually becomes the first guy to get the iPhone, his mates will pay for it. Can't find the link though atm!

Have to agree - there is only a small amount of people that actually use all the extra bells and whistles. After the novelty and pose value has worn off and you've shown all your mates what it can do, I bet most people just end up using them for calls and texting and maybe the odd photo....just like every other over priced cell phone.
The other thing is I bet they get crappy looking real quick, that high gloss finish is just begging for scratches.........
I'm with scumdog, rather spend the money on something more useful and rewarding.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
