    Wanted: Used CO2 Gas Cylinder

Looking for a free/cheap used CO2 gas cylinder for a minimoto nitrous project. Preferably fairly small but anything would be considered. Doesn't need to look good, just needs to be air tight. An old CO2 Fire Extinguisher or Paintbull tank would suit.

Has anyone got one lying in the garage or knows where I could get one?

I think some supermarkets take peoples old ones off peoples hands, as well as sell filled ones. (Soda stream) May want to ring around.

Would whoever I have to get the nitrous from be able to refill it? Or do soda stream have some silly way of filling them that only they can do?

Harden up, use a BBQ Gas Bottle.

    A real man would.

Yep way to go. I use a soda stream bottle on my mig. RIPOFF (Repco) can sell you a regulator to fit the S/stream bottle. Cost me about $80.00 7-8 years ago. Pick up soda stream machines from ya local op shop. Usually about $15. Pack and save sell swappa refills.

I have had S/stream refills from GO GAS. What ever you do don't try to deal with BOC. All they want to do is sell you their shit. Try an independant like GO GAS they will be more understanding. Ya not putting that shit on ya bike are ya????? LOL

Sweet. Will have to see who's able to refill bottles locally.

Does the minimoto count as a bike?

All the nitrous kits for minimotos involve those silly little disposable cannisters. http://cgi.ebay.com/STAGE-3-PERFORMA...em280242814024

I'm pretty keen not to have a compressed cylinder strapped to me in the very likely event of a crash. It could hurt

You could really fry your engine putting to much Nos in as well.

They probably designed those small canisters for the reason that thats all they can take you could really gethurt if you have to much and something goes wrong

Got a point. Don't want to be castrated any time soon.

Those little bottles are illegal now aren't they? Something to do with kids getting high off them.
