i actually think around 15 for the first run, then 13-14's for the rest. Getting sub 13 is harder than it looks. I would only put the FZ around 12's with a mega skilled rider (er not me i guess).
The only bike i have had any success was the old RG with did a 12.9......but 2,000ks later the motor collapsed, so all the hard work was in vain.
When is the next speed run? i want to see if i can get the fz past 260.

Got high 12's first time out as a Drag Newbe on old "Roxanne" (CBR1000FL). Recon my "Zena" (GSX1400K7) is at least as fast (if not faster), which is the same bike as jrandom so I have given him 12.0 -12.5's.

    'sfunny that...
The last trip I had to Roundabouta (the city formerly known as Tauranga), everyone was driving very sedately, due to the petrol prices, I guess. The only exception was one young hoon, coming out of the Meremere Dragway in his V8 Commodore, spinning it up as he took off. He didn't have the lights or siren going though...
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Hey dragmiesters, can someone explain the relevance of the terminal speed.

For instance. If an R1 does 11 secs@ 200k and a Busa does 11 secs @ 230, would this suggest the power comes in later on the Busa and therefore theoretically, if they carried on to a 1/2 mile the busa would be well in front?

Yes ,there are gaps in the data bank, even with my huge brain.

    Thank you.

remember the guy on the busa could have sat on the line for .5 of a second, reaction times come into play.
