Instructions have been left with my family for that to be played at the end of my service.

As for 'bad taste' ummmmmm ....... I dunno. I'm sure I can think of something but not just at the moment.

I think it somewhat depends on whether you\'re being cremated or buried, but:

    • Chris Rea - Highway to Hell
    • Doctor & the Medics - Spirit in the Sky
    • If buried, to be played as the coffin descends:
      • Going underground - The Jam
      • Down down, deeper and down - Status Quo
    • If cremated, to be played as the coffin slides into the oven
      • Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire
      • Meat Puppets - Lake of Fire
      • I\'m on Fire - Jerry Lee Lewis

    Any more ideas?

Great songs, but I'd like to think of my fueral being a big party to celebrate things I've accomplished.

I should prolly start trying to acheive something, wonder if staying on my race bike for the rest of the season counts, given my recent efforts I'm pretty sure people would be proud of me not arsing off.

I am almost certain you are thinking of the post Pistols Sid Vicious version of "My Way". And frankly, its a terrible terriblle travesty.

    whatever, its your funeral

    geddit.?

mine are "Pressure Drop" by Toots & the Maytals, "Break on Through" by the Doors, and "Rockaway Beach" by the Ramones.

Ooooohhh, good one! maybe the razors edge too for good measure. (I think it's not a bad commentry on todays society, but I have a habbit of missing the ppoint with these things.)

Listening to Godsmack as I type, and it's a bit bleak for celebrating life, but ideal for the cynics among us.
