Notifications not clearing?

Ok so now I have an uncleared visitor profile message! Anyone able to shed some light on this? Been 24 hours or thereabouts now, have definately cleared all messages too.

The problem is only happening for a very small number of people, who are using the profile page message system as a Private Message system. Perhaps you should use the PM system instead?

What I suspect is happening is that the messages are piling up faster than you are visiting your profile page to read them, and the system thinks you haven't read them all.

Keep going back to your profile page, and see if that clears it.

After that, try using the PM system.

I find that deleting a whole bunch of messages helps and clears up the issue...best not to keep too many messages on your profile.

Thank you for this. Problem is I have re-visited my profile page a huge number of times and this thing will not go away. If re-visiting the page does not work then can someone please tell me how to get rid of the notification.

Excellent advice mate, now I have a whole pile of messges that say...message deleted by Mom, but my uncleared notification has gone...LOL

Have you scrolled through all pages of messages?

If that doesn't work, you may have to delete the messages until the notification goes away.

Yeah I have this too...it's annoying can I not just delete them and have it not show anything? Pages of Deleted By Number One is a bit power trippy for me....it says things like

Maha...deleted by Number One

I opened every single message on my profile this morning, did not miss one out and still it did not go away. Read above, I have deleted messages but now I have a whole pile of messages saying "message deleted by Mom". Yay, I love this new improved KB thingy.
