    You may need to accept that the profile message system is not designed for conducting conversations. Use PMs, or MSN Messenger or similar.

    Thank you for that advice I will attempt to remember it. I dont have private message conversations with members here. I dont have MSN messenger, nor do I use the chat function on KB. I asked a question, as I had a problem, it seems that I have a sort of solution.

    WHAT IS the intended purpose of the profile visitor messaging system then? ALso I thought I remembered reading the PM system would fall to this...not the case then?...

    I've just tried - I can only "soft" delete. Only Spank and MT can "hard" delete them.

    Thank goodness for that!...LOL I thought I had gone mad there for a minute. I could only soft delete them too.

    I just looked at my profile, now it says you deleted those messages not me........

    Oh dear, this is funny. I dont really care, I just wanted the annoying uncleared message notification gone, like I said I love this new KB
