They just check to make sure you don't have any dangerous bits floating around. It's not a fine-tooth-comb inspection. They eye-ball you and your bike on the first run, making sure you're not wearing jandals and you don't have razor blades stuck to your knee sliders.
If you have bits of plastic dragging along the ground barely holding on with lockwire, they'll send you back to the pits.
Strictly speaking they're supposed to do that at Pukekohe as well, just like the 'first timers' breifing, of which I have never seen. I found the Manfield marshals and crew more professional than at Puke'. They also made everyone attend the briefing, regardless of how many times you have been through it, which is probably a fair idea.
    You get the idea...

I hope that means they'll be recyclable.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    I'm going up...

    ... in a cage

But if anyone wants a lift due to whatever reason, PM me and I'll pick you up along the way on Sat morning. I'll be leaving from WMCC aswell, but due to being on 4 wheels and not 2, I'll be showing up to Manfield slightly later than the bikes.:cool2:

I have just been informed that the bike departure will be from WMCC at 7.15am ... I'm not that keen for that time, therefore I'll be departing Wellington at 8.30am instead.

Also, my 1.3lr has just been upgraded to a V8 for the day

The whole day is pretty lax!
Just dont do anything stupid, like...CRASH! and everyone should have a good day!
The check over is usually just checking lights/indicators are taped, no loose bits, and that the brakes work.
Nothing to worry about at all!!! Trust me!

Stupid bloody rule. Alot safer at 100. But then thats nothing new, I know. Bugger them I say!

I think it has something to do with the way we drive in Godzone. Need to teach these young people how it feels to be overtaken cause the rest of us "experianced drivers" in NZ would rather die than let that happen. Only time they will get to experiance it. Enjoy the feeling while it lasts

They only check for light etc, on road bikes.
If its a race bike, its just the same as any other club day.
If youve raced it before, You'll be sweet.
