    best cafes/hangouts north island

apologies if this has been covered before, but your top stops for brekkie and brews would be most welcome, especially cafes that are popular with local bikers anywhere in nz, so I can work some runs out!.
    thanx in advance

Burglar Bills just north of Dannevirke is good
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Like MickeyD's - same horrible shit anywhere in the world. Much better to go to an unknown - at least there's the thrill of not knowing in advance if the contents of your mug/cup will be drinkable  Oh, and the truckstop just uphill of DeBretts on the Napier/Taupo isn't too bad for a decent feed.
