Question Serial & Std approval # on a Shoei XR 1000

Can anyone tell where abouts on my helmet I can find these numbers?

There's a fabric tag attached to the liner that might be it. But there should have been a whole bunch of paperwork that has the details in the box that it came in. If you don't have it any more, I can look for you when I get home.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I didn't get the box etc when i brought it.

There is a sticker on the inside of the chin bar, and there is tag on the strap, both have numbers on?

The tag on the strap should have an E Number, something like this: E 6 R22 050064/P-

That is the safety standard approval (EEC). There will be a sticker with a 5 digit number somewhere inside, that is the serial number. Maybe the chin bar. , I don't have mine near by.

My Multitec has the label on the right hand side strap (the side that doesn't have the D-rings). Hopefully it's standard Shoei practice to put it there.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    On the strap it has:

    050055 - P
    E6 (in a circle)
    107-1032

I'm guessing you are applying for a race licence?

The E6 is EEC rules, year 2006. The 050055 - P is likely the manufacturer and model type approval. Use 107-1032 as the serial number.

    for the CE ratings,
    you were close,
the E6 in a circle is the country that the approval was given,
teh 05XXX means is ECE 05 std (2005 which is the latest one, there was 03 and 04 before that)
and the number afterward is the batch number,
the next number is the serial number,

all this info is in teh MNZ rule book
