    Touring boot recommendation

Hi can anyone have any favourite recommendations on any mid range waterproof touring boots.

    Keen to be safe.

P.S. If anyone has any second hand size 41's for sale that would fit the bill let me know.

I really like my StylMartin StylSafe boots (leather, waterproof, comfy, full of carbon-fibre goodness), but they weren't cheap ($450 retail).
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I really liked my old Sidi's (http://banditrider.blogspot.com/2008...expensive.html) but my new Alpine stars are even more comfortable and I've yet to get wet feet.

Many thanks for your helpful reply.

Can you give me an idea what you paid for your alpinestars and who stocks them?

I'm in Palmy so not sure if it's much help to tell you I got them at Phil Turnbills. Paid $400 - only $30 more than my Sidi's 9 years earlier...wish petrol could obey the same rules of inflation.

Ive got a pair of Oxtar Explorer GTX which are the best boots I've ever had. totally waterproof, warm and comfortable when walking around, saves taking a pair of shoes when away on rallies, etc. Not showing any wear apart from a few scuffs even after three years.
The trademe link shows a picture of them

TCX is the new name for Oxtar...which did (does) make the BMW boots.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

I saw some Gaerne GSP1 aquatech boots today which looked really nice and were very well prices at $299 but the smallest size the shop had was size 43.

Does anyone know who might stock these in a size 42 or 43?
