Any KB'ers in Perth or WA?

I'm packing up my whole life into a suitcase and renting my house out in 3 months time ( aiming for October, straight after Bathurst ) and going to WA. I could do with asking a few Q's to someone living there, and I need to sort out somewhere to stay for a week or 3 when I first arrive ( I'm 31, single, live by myself in my own house here, I'm house-trained, tidy etc, if anyone's got a spare room ). I'm looking to live in Perth, with hopefully a FIFO job 3/1. I'm going to Perth and Kalgoorlie in August for a week to check out a few things, have a look around, and have a break.

Before you all ask, yes I am going there to do the mining thing out in the middle of the desert. I'm an electrician, and there's plenty of work out there if you don't mind the isolation etc.

It's just getting too hard ( read: expensive ) here, and the Gummit doesn't give you any incentive to bust your chops and look after yourself either. So screw it, I'm going.

So if anyone knows anyone, that would be really appreciated.

    Cheers, Andrew.

Go to 'members list' / 'search' / 'advanced search' and type in Perth in the location field. Results!

There are three very refined cultured folk that I know of!

Like Skunk says, you will find them all in the members list.

Then you can make your own introductions.

Good luck over there. Cheers John.

Don't forget that there are a lot of folk who put something totally useless in their "Location" fields - take R6 Kid for a example.
