i knw people do it with older cars nd stuf. but i think that involves fitting newer injected heads to the old block (some times from completly differnt cages)
i heard that turbos and carbs dont mix lol.
my mate is currently putting a turbo on his bmw car nd its not that expensive if you knw the right people, it would be some thing i did over a year or so nd same as him not aim for power just the fact of having a turbo.
and an injected bike is way out of what i can afford.

Its not impossible. There are a couple of ways to go,
a. Build a manifold with the injectors mounted to it, plus a single throttle body, and control it via a link computer or similar. you would need custom maps etc.
the benefit of this system, is that it works just like a small car engine.
b. Build/find a set of small throttle bodies with individual injectors for each cylinder. I am not sure if a link computer could run this sort of setup.
But you could adapt it from parts of another bike, a wrecked GSXR etc.
No idea on costs for either, but a trawl thru the eBay global site should net you some parts to start planning with.

Hardware, like pump, sensors, injectors, regulator, wiring, etc can be had fairly cheaply from car wreckers. Or buy a broken car (like I did) take the bits you need and sell the rest. Actually came out a few bob ahead.
Throttle body or bodies can be a single car unit or 4 bike units or 4 bike carbs.
A controller would probably be your biggest financial investment. There are a few controllers available, google!
My next project (planning stage at the moment) I am probably going to use a megasquirt controller.
Biggest hassle is mounting the injectors and fuel rail.
Or you could buy new stuff or a conversion kit and who knows what that would end up costing

It's not impossible - there were a couple of threads on VFR Discussion from guys that did it. However (but!) it's only worthwhile doing if you can get the parts at a reasonable price. The technology's there, and there are enough EFI bikes that you can probably find/make bits to fit. You need to cost it all out, and then decide whether it's feasible from a financial point of view, or better to buy a fuel-injected motor complete to transplant in, or better to just buy another bike.
... and that's what I think.

Injected GSXR750 could probably be had for $5k, maybe not as far away as you think?
Downside is poor throttle response (for a sports bike motor).

Really, there's no good reason to do it yourself, as injected bikes are cheap and plentiful. However, having said that, you could definitely make it (the work and hassle involved) worthwhile by adding a turbo
Do you have access to a lathe? If you do, that'll reduce the amount of outsourcing you have to do by a large amountYou'll need things like fittings for fuel rails (or even the rails themselves), plus injector mounting bosses etc, so being able to make your own will be a boon. Of course, if you look for a bank of throttle bodies that have very similar spacing to the inlet ports on your head, then you'll have yourself all that trouble.
With your ECU, you can either get something like the megasquirt and start your mapping from scratch, or you can use something like a GSXR ECU, and then piggy back it with a PCIII to get it how you want for your own motor. That will save a lot of mucking around with things like cold start enrichment maps and strategies, but then again, there's a lot of (mostly intangible admittedly) value to be had from setting those things up yourself (via something like the megasquirt).
My advice would be to do it on a bench motor, rather than something you want to ride any time soon, you'll burn plenty of time out.
