Inventive ways to shut off your bike.....

Quotes from another bike site....original question re shutting off bike and some of the more imaginative answers......I rather appreciated some of these....

QUESTION: Do you guys turn the key off to turn off the bike then hit the kill switch or vice versa?

ANSWER 1:I throw a crowbar in the rear wheel near where I want my bike to be parked.
It stalls the engine and saves me brake pad wear.

ANSWER 2:i shift to neutral then to first then back to neutral then to 2nd and back to first. then i flip the high beam switch 3 times, turn signal left, right, left, right....beep the horn then hit the kill switch and put the stand down. then turn off the key and turn the bars to the left then jump off the bike to the left side and then lock the steering and take the key out.

ANSWER 3: I put the bike in 1st gear. Hold the front brake and pull the throttle all the way back for about 20 minutes or so until the bike shuts off then take the key out. It kinda sucks to do it this way because it's tough on the rear tire and I got to carry gas in a ziplock bag. But it's good to get in the habit of shutting off your bike the same way every time...

There are more but I loved these three......specially No 3.....

Yeh the new bikes i owned seem to be a lot better now. My first bike was a TS185.......it wasnt well assembled (thanks to me), so whenever i dropped that sucker i had to crawl back to it, take the screwdriver (which was sitting under the seat) and pop the plug before she would stop......
really hard when the bike is making bacon out of your inner thigh.

Funny, I use the Screwdriver ta turn the TS125 on as well. LOL. The key tumbler is gone so my "Key" is a old chainsaw screwdriver/spark plug spanner.

Chuck Norris normally jams his left pinkie between the chain and rear sprocket. The bike either stalls or self destructs.
If it fails, he just stares at the engine for 2 sec before it magically dies.
But of course Chuck Norris never fails.

Hmmm, I never really use my kill switch...

One can also simply put down the sidestand while rolling along at idle in 1st gear.
