You haven't told us your budget....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Do you know whether all the Japanese 250 Inline fours will be similar enough to put in? And is it a hassle.. like am i much better off just to wait for a cbr engine to come along?
Use a hornet motor. there one on trade me at the moment, then run the carbys from your cbr engine. only difference i think don't quote me on that Im probably wrong.

there have been a couple of damaged CBR's on TradeMe lately...which would probably fit your budget.

Depending on how much work you want to do, or what exactly you're looking for...if you can get parts for a reasonable price it might be worth it - and would give you good insight into how your bike works

    Good luck

No an FZR250 motor will not fit in your CBR250 chassis, you will need to get another CBR engine... but I'm guessing the 'Yamaha to Honda adaptor bolts' make it pretty obvious that the OP is being an idiot.

Will be easier to get another motor than to rebuild yours, especially if a con rod has decided to exit the motor via the crankcase (that' pretty fatal and not worth fixing unless there's something rare about a motor).

Try the Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers in Australia. They will definitely have a motor, and will definitely ship it to you.
Lol.. the first thing i said to my flatmates when i seen BFH was "does that mean a big fucking hammer" and they were like um dunno.. and i was thinking he could have been taking to piss, but didn't wanna say so in case he wasnt taking the piss and i would offend him :P But i talked to boyd's the next day and they confirmed that he was talking BS so at least i figured that out :P

Thanks for the tip on Vic Wreckers i will definitely give them a try.

Yeah the end of the conrod is still there, but the bearing and a lil bit of the conrod are what has come off. (Don't knw if u looked at my pics.. they're here: http://www.mcrides.co.nz/index.php?showtopic=4634 I think that was my thread, not this one)
