Oh gawd no. I'm sure they'll be stoked that the kiwibiker g33ks will be making something that was so cool into something so nerdfest..
The world will look up and shout "Save Us!", and I'll whisper "no"

Last time I heard of a bike going missing the guy who stole it went home in an ambulance. Probably less likely to happen these days

Call me a wuss if ya want but I love my gixxer too much to do that too it! Plus it was so cold last year... Not really keen to repeat it lol. Yes, I'm a sissy... What ya gunna do about it

last cold kiwi I went to early 90's they announced over the tannoy system appealing for information about a suzuki GSX that had gone missing

then they realised what they had done and posted some whitewash cover story - never went back after that

Prey tell sir what happens at these events...what is it you like about them...why should a virgin rallyer who is also a 'cold sooky' plan for it?

    Well!

Being a westie I really enjoy the drinking and beer tent.

Its a journey there and back. It will help to give you more experience as a rider.

Being able to carry all your gears on your bike and stay somewhere gives me the freedom feeling I always look for.

There are side events like helmet run(run across a paddock in only a helmet), hill climb(lots of crashes), burnout comp, weener grab(yea!), special events like trials bikes climbing a wall the hieght of a house.
Even if you decide not to participate you can sit back watching other people make dicks of themselves( and think thank god I'm not doing that)

There are always some characters milling around doing funny/silly things.

And you dont have far to go to your tent after a big evening of drinking.(or could ride)

    There are bands

oh and a huge bonfire that makes your new years bonny at the beach look like a candle.

And then theres mud, toilets(ah hem), and cold but its character building!
