    50% off leathers

FYI poor students ( and others )

Called into Mt Eden Motorcycles tonight on the way home to get some Dririder pants. They have a 50% off sale on some of their leathers. They have got Alpinestars, Spyke, M2R, Ixon, AGV, and something else which I forget now. There are a mix of 1 and 2 piece leathers. I got an Alpinestars TX-1, 2 piece ( normal price $1699 ) for $850. There is an Alpinestars GPU 2 piece, size 58 ( normal price $1699 ), an Alpinestars Tecnic 1 piece suit plus some other model Alpinestars 1 piece suit, couple Spyke 1 piece ( I think ) plus others - about 10 suits in total, and then some jackets only ( no pants ). Most of the suits that I saw ( quick browse ) were size 58, and some 54. There may be other sizes but I wasn't looking that hard after I got what I wanted.

So if you want leathers and not got big $$, you may like to check it out.

My $49 rain pants ended up costing my $900 but never mind 'cos who can argue with 50% off leathers?

    Happy trails

Yeah. They have got a 4 sided rack by the counter, pretty full, all 50% off. Priced from ( full price ) $800 to $2000. so now going for $400 to $1000.

They got those M2R brand ones in the grey kinda blueish slate colour ( similar to your leathers you wore to RRRS IIRC ) $800 so now down to $400. Did yours get a bit torn up the other weekend?

they're surprisingly ok; the kneesliders and immediate area took a beating but otherwise still good, jacket has barely visible scuffing from the slide, might take the right knee in for repair incase it doesn't hold up a 2nd time

mind you what do KBC leathers cost?

yeah, but I do remember seing some teknic gear for sale, an armoured jacket, for I think it was $200? Can't really remember.

Theres plenty of dodgy stuff online though, I will admit. My favourite is the 'partially waterproof' with 'elbow armour', and thats it.
