Wonder if JiR can sort another (non Honda) bike?

Alex Debon maybe in line for the 3rd Kawasaki ride to be run by Aspar Martinez.
Sounds like Carlos Checa will stay in WSBK with Honda, ( wise move! )

Hmmmm, that's one out of the blue if it's true.
If it happens it's a shame it didn't happen under the current series rules to show what a great rider he is. A lot of people dis' Mladin and Spies for being on the dominant bike but it would sure shut 'em up when he put another bike on the top of the box.
I don't know that he'd take an almost inevitable pay cut to go to WSBK but maybe he'll use it as a learning experience with the European tracks. He's young enough to do well there and then jump to MotoGP, but the risk is that if he doesn't do well then MotoGP is out the window. Still, with the furore in the 'States over conflicting Superbike series it's good motivation to get the hell out of Dodge.
He's in an awkward spot, I don't know what I'd do if I was in his shoes but it would be a nice problem to have.
And Capirossi has won at Motegi for the last 3 years!![]()
Capirossi an inspiration to us all, a short ugly guy who has managed to score a drop dead gorgeous missus.

Alex Debon to the 3rd Moto GP Kawasaki OR 2nd Aprilia in WSBK...hmmm...
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "
