    yes

yamaha have picked up skyes from the britsh superbikes, so losing both there riders will hurt them for next year in development (maybe)

I am not sure about the Spies to Yamaha story??

No doubt Spies is a a talent and if I was a manager I'd be talking to him........

Just chiming in here in support of Ben Spies. He is the real thing, I reckon, having seen him ride that second race at Road Atlanta, there was just nothing going to stop him getting to Mladin, it was most impressive.
Then he backs that up with his ride at Indianapolis, in those conditions, and definitely a threat to Pedrosa, who I reckon he would have caught if he didn't have visor fogging problem.
It looks as if his MotoGP chances have gone for next year, the possible available Honda seat likely going to Takahashi. Paul Denning might have had the decision taken out of his hands, but he should be kicking himself for not pushing for Spies given his very solid wild card rides.
I just wonder if Yamaha Italia would be keen on two WSB rookies, with Sykes and Spies, but they could take a flier. I am not sure who would be a good fit if they want someone with experience, not sure who's available. I think Ben's developed a pretty good feel for setup, and I am not sure Haga ever has, so 'experience' in this case may be overrated.
    Interesting times..........
    Cheers
    Barry

I've always thought Corser was very much like Edwards, super smooth and experienced.
Feel sorry for Haga, so good late this season , just hasn't quite made No 1. so far ? Gaz.

Nope, all 4 yamaha seats taken (unless they come up with a 5th one). Only unconfirmed seats now are satellite ducati and checcinello's satellite honda team maybe??

Get rid of capirossi i say. He's way past his used by date.
